Khotanese Texts, Volume II

Cambridge University Press, 1954. — 134 p.In this second volume of Khotanese texts are gathered up all the longer documents known to me. A few smaller pieces are added which will serve as examples of a fairly large collection of fragments to be published later. Of the religious texts only two pieces are incidentally included as being found in the same rolls with the documents nos. i and 57: the first, in lines 77-86, is a summary of part of the Sad-dharma-pundarika-sutra, of which another copy is preserved in P 2782; the second is a legend of Kanaiska, edited in the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society (1942), with translation and commentary.
